Stacy Keibler Black Lace Prom Formal Dress 2012 SAG Awards

I needed a dress for a black tie event and didn't want to shop at the mall or area specialty stores. Every time I do, women show up at the event wearing the exact same dresses. I was nervous to order online, overseas, unable to try on and return. But I'm so glad I did! This black lace dress is stunning! I received numerous compliments and was so happy to hear: "We've never seen anything like it!" The black lace is soft and delicate. It's difficult to tell online, but the lining is a beautiful dove gray. Be warned - this is a high maintenance dress! The bodice has four long strips of boning that makes the dress super fitted and smooth, but it is impossible to lean over. Put your shoes on before the dress! Also, the train is a bit of a hassle to keep track of, especially w/ stairs, doors, people walking behind, etc. but for one night, it was worth it. I had the dress custom made to my measurements and it fits PERFECT - like a glove! Tightly fitted but not too tight. I was also on a bit of a time crunch. I needed the dress in five weeks. I put the request in the comments section and it arrived a week early. My only small complaint - it seems that the lace on the hem in front has either been seamed or repaired as it has a bit of a flaw. I just wish it wasn't in the front. However, overall I am so happy with the dress. I will order again from this site. Can't beat the price! The dress is stunning and looks EXACTLY the way it does in the photos of Stacy Keibler. For one night, I felt like a movie star!
