I want to preface by saying this is a great dress! The construction is top notch, and the general style of the dress (draping, folds, etc.) are almost identical. I bought a size 4 and it was too large for me, but I was prepared to get it tailored anyway. There are, however, slight subtleties that make the replica dress look cheaper than the original (of course, it's a fraction of the price, so that's to be expected, but just fyi they are not exactly the same). I've listed the differences below.

1. As the other reviewer wrote, this dress is more of a darker gray than the light silver on Li Bingbing. The beads are also lighter (white/silver?) and so stand out more,
2. There are fewer beads and they are spaced farther apart.
3. The fabric is thicker and more opaque rather than shimmery and translucent like the original.
4. There are fewer flowers at the top of the dress and they are less voluminous and look more like cutouts.

1,2, and 4 are things I'm going to get fixed because they do bother me...but I think they are very easy to fix especially since the dress is already so pretty/close to the original and adding linear beading is very easy. 3 doesn't bother me but I do wish the dress were lighter in color. But it's not a huge deal.

All in all, great dress. Would definitely recommend and would definitely purchase more from this site. But just keep in mind you might need to set aside a bit of money for alterations/changes!

The dress was gorgeous. I got custom sizing and it fit like a glove! the color, quality, design, everything was just amazing.

Wow! This gown is perfect. The beading, the style are spot on. I looked inside to see if it said elie saab! If you're thinking of getting this dress, then go for it. The only thing is that the color isn't silvery/white as stated it's actually light gray (I liked the color of the actual gown) and the beading is sliver so it really stands out. The flowers however seem like they are made with iridescent and they're larger and they are spaced out across the bust, then the original which are smaller and tightly place one next to the other. Another thing is the opening in the bust sticks outward away from your chest (maybe from shipping) it isn't like the pics where it sticks straight up. I ordered it in standard size 4, you may want to consider to do custom sizing for this. Also keep in mind that gowns that are heavily beaded you may have a hard time zipping (there isn't much leeway than ones with no beading) again this goes back to sizing. There are minor issues and I am over the moon for this gown. I will order from thecelebritydresses.com I'm so glad I took a chance on this site.
