Strapless Prom Evening Dresses Thigh-high Slit Bridesmaid Dress

I ordered this dress on May 1, 2014 in Pearl Pink with custom measurements. I emailed Customer Service the next day to ask about the expected delivery date and I received a response within 24 hours stating it should take approximately four weeks. Nearing the four week mark, I emailed Customer Service again asking when I could expect the tracking number. It just so happened I received a notification shortly thereafter with a tracking number and it turned out my dress was even scheduled to arrive the following day. I received my dress on May 29, 2014 (exactly four weeks from when I ordered).

Upon opening the package, I first thought I had the wrong dress but it turns out it was packaged inside out. After adjusting, I was so happy with how pretty the dress turned out. Given I ordered custom measurements, the bodice and waist fit perfectly. The bodice is padded but I ordered it a little bigger than my normal chest size so I could still squeeze in a bra for more umph. The color I chose also came out really well and the chiffon was so soft and flowed nicely.

The only issue? The length! I’m 5’0 and know that ordering long gowns in general would require some alterations so I figured if I ordered a dress that was custom sized, problem solved. So I still can’t quite wrap my head around how incredibly long this dress turned out in spite of me providing my measurements. TheCelebrityDresses asks for your measurements for "Shoulder to Floor (with heels on)" and "Height." I provided accurate measurements for both (in inches) and yet there is at least two feet worth of extra fabric.
Undoubtedly it's still a beautiful dress but wish I could've saved a trip to a tailor given that this was supposed to be a custom-sized dress. Overall, I am happy with my experience and I do plan on ordering from here again though I’ll make a point to clarify the correct length next time around.

*Note: I’m wearing 4 in. heels in the pictures I uploaded and I raised the slit to where I was expecting it to be.
