Q: Hi, would it be possible to ave this dress made in the silk like satin in hunter and also to lay extra for tailoring and delivery to Canada by signed courier ? Id prefer less ruffles at the back than your picture. And made for someone with a small bust, I,d need it by Oct 17 Thanks

Not a Great Replica, but a Great Dress
I had a couple of issues with the dress. Unfortunately the dress shown on the model is not the same dress that you receive. The dress that you receive has princess seams and is designed more with the bustier woman in mind. This is unfortunate for a dress that is designed to look good on women who don't have much going on up top. The top gapes and it took a bit of shimming and experimenting to figure out how to get the dress to sit properly. With that in mind, I still like the dress. It's such a classic design and I've dreamt of owning Keira's dress for so long, it's just a shame that a couple of the design elements let it down. :(

I wouldn't order this dress again, however I was happy enough with the product and the price that I would order from TheCelebrityDresses again.

PERFECT! No matter what size...
My senior prom is finally here! I have known this was going to be my dress since I was 12 years old when I fell in love with the movie. I almost feel as though the dress is my prom date! I've never looked at another dress or even considered trying another on. The fabric, cut, quality, color, everything is better than I imagined. I was terrified it would look bad on me, because although Keira Knightley is beautiful, she's built like a 10 year old boy. I am a full figured woman. (Roughly a size 18) and it's the most flattering piece of clothing I've ever worn. Thank you for helping to make the biggest part of my senior year perfect =]

Better Than Expected
It felt very risky ordering this dress on a site I had never heard of with the retailer in China, but I couldn't be happier. I have been looking for this dress for a long time, and I have to say that the quality is excellent considering the price. I'm a size 6 at Banana Republic, Express, and most other major brands - this is the size of dress I ordered and it fits just right. Even though I'm a 34 D the top is loose and will have to be taken in or pinned when I wear it, but that is just the style of the dress and I really feel I got a great deal overall. The only cons are that the fabric is lighter and more shiny than the one in the movie, and the straps in the back are secured by visible clear plastic rings. It's nice that the straps are adjustable like a bra, but it also detracts from the elegance of the look. I'm sure it will be easy to cut them out and remove the plastic, then sew them back in to be my exact fit. I would buy this dress again.

Fabulous dress at a great price!
The dress arrived in a week, and I am delighted with it! The material isn't shiny and falls wonderfully. The colour is great, but I'm having to get it altered as the bust sticks out at the arms, however it fits perfectly everywhere else :)

Still deciding
Still trying to decide whether I'm happy of not.
The speed at which this was delivered was amazing. I ordered this 3 weeks ago and it arrived today. I live i the UK.

My initial reaction upon opening the parcel, amidst the excitement, was one of slight disappointment. The colour of the dress isn't the gorgeous emerald green from the film. Instead it is more of a bluey-green. The picture of the model wearing the dress is closer to the actual colour but not quite.

The train is long (which i really don't mind) but the actually length is a tad short. (my housemate thinks the length is fine).

I'm not too sure what is going on in the bust area. It's too big on me and will need altering.
The fit around the middle is beautiful though.

The quality is fine, not amazing, but fairly reasonable for the price.

Overall, a mix of feeling about this dress. Excited that it has arrived, but a tad disappointed about the colour and the added expense of alteration.

Nice dress
The shipping wasn't too bad, considering there was a bank holiday. The material is beautiful and the intricate attention round the hips is stunning. However the straps have no adjustments on them and are much too long, and so I will have to get them adjusted. Aside from this, I'm very pleased with it.
